Hello and welcome to my official website.

I was born in Perugia at 31st of January 1969.

I started getting close to Volleyball in coincidence while my sister was playing in a team in my home town and I was helping her coach  during the trainings.

Soon I started to play also and my passion for Volleyball started to grow bigger and finally I decided to complete my education in University of Sport in Perugia where I graduated in 2001.

During my education at University, I was playing and coaching in the same time.

My first experience of coaching started in a boy’s team U16 and lasted only one year. Shortly after I passed to a women team in my near city, Marsciano.

During this period I was lucky enough to get to know Fausto POLIDORI who gave me a chance follow his program in Italian Youth and Junior Boys National Teams as a volunteer assistant.

Few years after, a proposal changed my big passion into a professional job becoming a assistant-coach of Beppe CUCCARINI in Medinex Reggio Calabria Team.

For two following seasons, we worked together in Reggio and two other in Foppapedretti Bergamo.

Later I became the assistant-coach of Massimo BARBOLINI in Despar Perugia Team.

5 years full of success during when I think I had the most fruitful of experience working with two great coaches and I can never thank enough, and most stronger players in the world with who I thought technical models and professional attitudes.

I finally became the head-coach of my original club in third league in Marsciano.

It was an important choice for me to take responsability with all of my experience thought before.

After two seasons in 3rd league, during a wonderful summer day, I received an unbelievable call. I was invited to become the head-coach of Asystel Novara from 1st league by Massimo De Stefano, the club’s general manager.

I can never forget these two splendid seasons when we have taken the Italy Super Cup, the Top Teams Cup and the League Cup.

My biggest experience was and stil is working as a head-coach of a National Team of Turkey.

We played a lot of important tournaments and received important successes.

Now I started my 4th season which will end with the 2010 World Championships in Japan.
